Stronger. Together. Real Mandarin School and the Camberwell Dragons
Real Mandarin School is the Official Language & Education Partner of the Camberwell Dragons, supporting local kids to grow stronger on the court and in the classroom.
Already part of the Dragons family
Real Mandarin School is now a partner of Camberwell Basketball and the Camberwell Dragons. It's a natural fit: many of our students already train and compete with the Dragons, and our families are part of the club.
Basketball builds teamwork, resilience and the habit of practice. Learning a language builds confidence and opens up new opportunities. Our motto for the partnership: exercise the body, exercise the brain.
“Real Mandarin is already part of our Dragons family and we're delighted to welcome the school as a partner.”Andrew Johnstone, Communications, Community Engagement and Partnerships Manager, Camberwell Basketball · Read the club's announcement
This season, Dragons players will warm up in jumpers carrying the Real Mandarin School logo. We're proud to be part of the team.
Why it fits
Exercise the body, exercise the brain
Sport and study grow the same habits: focus, practice, teamwork and showing up every week.
Right here in Camberwell
We're neighbours. Many of our students already play for the Dragons, and our centre on Toorak Road is only minutes from the courts.
Small teams win
Like a good basketball squad, our classes are small: 6 to 8 students, so every child gets coached.
